NEW IN MUNICH: ROOMERS HOTEL

The wait is officially over: Last night Roomers Hotel in Munich has opened their doors with a great welcome party. After testing their Restaurant Izakaya a few weeks ago, we waited to see the finished Hotel. We already loved the Roomers Hotel in Baden-Baden (about which you can read in this article), so we are very excited to have a new venue of the Gekko Group in one of our home towns. With its 281 stylish rooms, located in a very hip and upcoming area of Munich, the Roomers will definitely become the new place to be.

The Hotel

Roomers in Munich was designed by an Amsterdam-based design company, which has managed to create a perfect balance of classy, cool and elegant style throughout the hotel. Already by entering the lobby, with its dark tones contrasting the copper elements and its comfortable lounge seats, you will want to stay here forever. Compared to other hotels in Munich, Roomers is definitely different. But this, you have to experience by yourselves.

The location

The Hotel is located on Landsbergerstrasse, which is one of the upcoming areas in Munich. You only need 10 minutes to the center of Munich, but that’s not the point. Because everything is right here:  delicious food at Izakaya and comfortable beds at the hotel, you will probably not want to leave at all.

The Rooms

The rooms have a similar aesthetic like the lobby: elegant wood, mirrored bathrooms, dark marble and super comfortable beds. Every room is decorated with inspiring art, stylish details and modern comfort. And we’re serious if we say that you don’t have to leave the hotel at all: there’s of course 24/7 room service. Roomers offers eleven categories of rooms, so you have a big variety. I personally like the Luxury Escape room, which features a bathtub next to the bed. However, no matter which room you pick, you will love it due to its timeless, elegant designs.

Black marble and big mirrors. Even the bathrooms are decorated in a very stylish way.

The Spa

Not only do they have a big offer of fantastic massages, Hydra Facials and Blowouts, they also have an infinity Jacuzzi with a cinema screen. Yes I am not kidding. You can order a delicious cocktail, enjoy the bubble Jacuzzi while they show you all the classic movies you love. What else would you want? However, you can also just relax in the beautiful holistic pool area with day beds and nice food and drinks. And for all of you who actually want to do something more active, they have a perfectly equipped fitness room, where all of you sporty people can enjoy the best fitness machines. If you are looking for me, I will be in the Jacuzzi drinking my Mojito.

The Bar

After the award-winning Roomers Bar in Frankfurt – the Munich people can be excited to have such a cool bar in town. The 360 degrees black marble bar with a variety of signature drinks, fizzes and cobblers you can have the perfect evening here. The bar is located next to the delicious Japanese restaurant Izakaya, which has already established itself as one of the new hotspots in Munich. And for all of you who want to party a bit longer, you should check out their private room. With red velvet chill-out-couches, its own DJ Table and funky lights dancing over your head, you can have the night of your life there.
