Since I live half a year in Buenos Aires, many people have asked me to write down my favorite spots in this big city. So I decided, with the help of an Argentine friend of mine, to start with the best bars of Buenos Aires.
ISABEL
The first time I celebrated my birthday in Buenos Aires, I went to a bar called Isabel, which I have the best memories of until today. Not only are the drinks amazing but also the interior is beautiful. It looks like a bar in New York. Very stylish and chic. They also serve very nice food and they have always a cool line-up with well known DJs. So a fun evening is guaranteed.

VICTORIA BROWN
Time travel to the late 30s. You will love the interior of this bar in Palermo. Brick walls, heavy leather sofas, wooden tables, old machinery. Victoria Brown is inspired by one of the most revolutionary chapters of history, the Victorian. An era of great change in industry, art and literature. Victoria Brown is very cozy and cool bar with delicious drinks and great food. Their motto is “Live, Love and Drink”.
Address: Costa Rica 4827, Buenos Aires, Argentina
FLORERIA ATLANTICO
One of my absolute favorites. This place located close to Avenida 9 de Julio, which is the widest avenue in the world, with the coolest entrance I have ever seen. Entering a flower shop and walking down an iron staircase to enter the bar is unforgettable. The drinks are absolutely incredible designed and the bar food is also very nice. But read more here about their cool concept.
Address: Arroyo 872, Buenos Aires, Argentina
PRESIDENTE BAR
Super nice bar with tasty cocktails. In the heart of Recoleta lies the Presidente Bar which was number 14 on the World’s 50 Best Bars in 2018. The food is very good and the waiters are great. It is a nice bar to start the evening. Quite elegant and their Martinis are a must.
Address: Av. Pres. Manuel Quintana 188, Buenos Aires, Argentina
ALVEAR ROOF BAR
With the most beautiful view over the city of Buenos Aires, you’ll find on the eleventh floor the absolute beautiful Alvear Roof Bar. We already had a lot of fun sundowners on this terrace. The bar lies on the top of one of the most famous hotels in Buenos Aires – Alvear Palace. The hotel is a proper Grand hotel located in Recoleta with great service and beautiful interior. You don’t want to go to a hotel to have drinks? Still, do it and enjoy a delicious drink with the best view over this lively city before going for dinner.
