There is a group of guys in Munich, better known as the “Cerebro Frito” collective, who always make sure that everyone is slightly drunk all summer long. In 2015 they came up with a mobile tricycle bar, free drinks and the occupancy of public space, followed by their beergarden “Ølhavn” at Stadtmuseum in 2016, where we spend a lot of memorable afternoons and evenings.

And lucky us, they won’t dissappoint us this year! They are planning a new pop-up-bar, called “Jardin Gérard”, inspired by one of our favorite wine lovers Gérard Depardieu. From 23 June to 15 September 2017 the garden and the backyard of Museum Villa Stuck is turning into the new venue, where parts of the collective open up their relaxed wine garden with an international music program – for example with Daniel Haaksman, Jeppes (Who Made Who), King of Kong and of course some local music artists stopping by at Jardin Gérard.
But besides music, wine, snacks and the wonderful scenery of the Museum Villa Stuck, you will also be able to enjoy some art installations, guided tours and lectures that will be happening there.

In addition, a wine edition will be created. The labels are made by the artists Douglas
Coupland (Bit Red, Villa Stuck 2017), Sylvie Fleury (My Life on the Road, Villa Stuck
2016) as well as the artist duo Martin Fengel and Martin Wöhrl.
The opening will be on 23rd of June 2017 and for more information, head over to their Facebook page or their opening event.
Off to a new summer to remember – or at least the sober parts of it. Santé, mesdames et monsieurs!
