Since Creative Director Alessandro Michele took over at Gucci, we’re all in love with the new fashion collections. A mix of crazy patterns, big emblems and a combination of colors and shapes we’ve never seen before. Could you think how happy us design enthusiasts are, that we could also live in Gucci’s new home collection from now on?

Gucci’s Creative Directors philosophy for personalising the home is therefore similar to his DIY programme for clothes and accessories, where you are invited to customise pieces by applying decorative details. Floral patterns, lion heads and unconventional patterns everywhere! Likewise, his collection of items for interiors is also intended to allow for a personal approach to decoration.
The smaller pieces of the collection are of porcelain and are produced by Richard Ginori, the renowned Florentine company founded in 1735. With access to the skills of this porcelain factory, Michele has designed a range of distinctive, patterned crockery featuring a green and white Herbarium decoration.
Metal trays introduce strong colours and prints. The trays can be used practically, or, in the case of smaller circular models, as unorthodox ornaments for display.
Four scents – for both candles and incense – have been developed by Michele: Inventum, Fumus, Herbosum and Esotericum. Furthermore, there will be a range of wallpapers as well. These come in silk, vinyl and paper. We can’t wait for it!
The “Gucci Decor” collection will be available in September 2017. The home collection will be launched globally in their stores and online at gucci.com.
