It’s almost that time of the year again. Oh no, I’m not talking about Christmas. I’m saying, when fall comes, the three of us usually go on our inspirational travels together. Last year, we went to New York. And that’s actually where we launched this blog. Now, because we were planning to go back right around this time this year, I wanted to show you my latest design crush in the city: a boutique hotel in Soho called 11 Howard designed by infamous Space Copenhagen.
THE DESIGN
Space Copenhagen is not only responsible for the most beautiful residential projects across the globe but also for the design of world-famous restaurants noma, Geranium, and Geist in Copenhagen. 11 Howard definitely feels Scandinavian with its very casual luxury. Danish minimalism meets New York realism, already feels like a classic.
THE ROOMS
There are 213 rooms in 10 different categories. Each featuring high ceilings, light oak floors, and Danish-inspired furniture and finishes. The bathrooms are minimalistic with marble and brass details and stocked with organic bath products from Grown Alchemist.
Conscious Hospitality
11 Howard is a partner with Global Poverty Project whose mission is a world without extreme poverty by 2030. By booking your stay directly with the Hotel, a portion of the room rate will be donated to GPP to help fight extreme poverty and inequality around the world. What are you waiting for?
