Oh yes, we do have a deep love for all things paper and printed magazines. Great layouts, graphics, photographs, nice matte paper and personal stories: indie travel magazines are the new coffeetable books.
So we tell you about our 5 favorite travel magazines that are worth the buy.
1. CEREAL

Price: 12 £ (Guidebook: 8 £)
Where to buy: shop.readcereal.com
2. TINY ATLAS QUARTERLY
Why we like it: Annual magazine of one of the most inspiring Instagram accounts. Photographer and founder Emily Nathan created with this magazine a collection of her friends and her traveling around. Amazing pictures with graphics, stories and travel resources.
Price: We don’t know actually, when the next issue will come out. But until then, their website and shop are also worth the look.
Where to buy: tinyatlasquarterly.com/
3. ANOTHER ESCAPE
Why we like it: The magazine for the outdoor-hearted. For example the latest issue is all about building your own canoe, hiking, natural navigation and rolling homes. Everything which I don’t have a clue about (but really want to dream of).
Price: 10 £
Where to buy: anotherescape.com/shop
4. LODESTARS ANTHOLOGY
Why we like it: Because it’s different. Every issue is dedicated to another country (e.g. Canada, England, Sweden). Without any restaurant, sightseeing or hotel recommendations, this magazine is just filled with personal stories, people & their experiences and history of amazing places all over the world.
Price: 12 £
Where to buy: lodestarsanthology.co.uk/store/
5. SUITCASE MAGAZINE
Why we like it: A very well-created mixture of fashion & travel. Interviews with upcoming designers, colourful city guides, fashion editorials in jaw-dropping locations and articles by award-winning international writers. Very nice topics of this issue: ideas about sustainable fashion.
Price: 24 £ (for 4 magazines per year)
Where to buy: anotherescape.com/shop
