THE DESIGN
The refurbished Anvil Hotel, originally build in the 1950s, is a project by Eagle Point Hotel Partners and the Brooklyn-based Studio Tack, which takes credit for this blue and dark green-hued dream of a Western Lodge. Studio Tack is also known for other remarkable design venues, like Casa Bonay in Barcelona or the minimalistic masterpiece Tilden Hotelin San Francisco.
THE ROOMS
Being comfortable without any need for frills. That’s what the atmosphere of Anvil Hotel is all about. You’ll find custom Woolrich blankets on iron beds next to selected interior details, which make every interior enthusiasts heart skip a beat. Dark blue wood and white and navy, parquet floors. Topped with a great selection of brands, like side tables from Hedge House and sconces by the handcrafted lightning company Allied Maker from New York.
THE RESTAURANT
And it’s not just all about the design. The hotel’s Italian restaurant “Glorietta” is run by chef Mac Jarvis, previously the Sous Chef over at Momofuku Las Vegas. And the well-created cocktail selection is owed to the team of the famous cocktail bar Death & Co. from New York. So you might want to stay here for a while.
THE LOBBY
A provisional store situated in a cozy living room, that’s what the lobby Anvil Hotel feels like. Furnished with a wood-burning stove, you can enjoy some freshly-baked treats from the local bakery and a hot coffee there, while browsing through the clothes and epic outdoor goods curated by the boutique Westerlind. But the lobby isn’t just a mercantile or a place to check-in, it’s also a favorite spot of the locals to hang out in Jackson.
THE SURROUNDING
Of course you don’t just come to Jackson, without planning the most amazing trips into its surrounding nature. Skiing in winter at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort or going for the most stunning hikes in summer. Anvil Hotel is one of the closest hotels to the
