“The W” is a synonym for outstanding boutique hotels all over the world – now the Marriott is bringing its design brands experience to Coachella by building a tent village with exquisite styled yurts. Because, who said that festival equals low-key camping?
THE INTERIOR OF THE DESIGN YURTS
Found between palm trees and surrounded by unique mountain views, the oasis built of yurts is located at the arts and music festival in the Californian desert. This unique space features air-conditioned modern tents that provide a luxurious get away. Each Yurt is furnished with a king size bed and large sitting area, to make you feel like you just stepped into a room at a W hotel. So all you have to do is be a member at Marriott, to get the opportunity to stay in one of the designer yurts on Coachella’s VIP Safari campsite.
THE COACHELLA ADD-ONS
Guests are offered some festival indulgences including a refrigerator personally stocked with their favorite snacks and beverages, maid turndown service, personal concierge, private bathroom and shower (which is a lifesaver at festivals) for each Yurt, access to the Safari Lounge and private shuttles to take guests to and from the concert venue. Now our question, does it get any better?
AND WHAT’S COMING NEXT?
In some of the yurts, the brand shows what’s planned next for their venues in Bali, Barcelona and the upcoming soon-to-be-open hotel in Dubai, their first W hotel in Middle East. We’ll definitely keep you posted about this one.
