Is it really just Hamburg or has summer just skipped Europe this year? Anyway, since it has been raining here for days in a row now (again) I’m constantly looking for escape options. I came across Brown Beach Hotel in Trogir, Croatia. Check out this new boutique hotel by the sea and book your last minute trip, to soak up the last rays of sunshine this year!

THE LOCATION
The building, a restored tobacco shipment station, has been redesigned into a 1950’s resort-inspired place with a playful ambiance and gorgeous black and white tiled pool terrace overlooking the Adriatic sea. Instagram-ready!

The 41-room and suite property features a luxurious full-service spa and is located in Trogir, a popular yachting destination and ancient harbor town deemed a UNESCO World Heritage Site, just five kilometers from the Split airport. Their high-end restaurant Cartina focuses on fresh seafood and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There’s a cocktail bar, spaces for private events, spa, jacuzzi and most importantly a private beach – need more?
THE DESIGN
The interior and exterior design concept was developed by Amsterdam-based designer
Saar Zafrir (also responsible for Hotel Provocateur by Gekko Group, who own Roomer’s Hotel in Baden Baden –
